The fungi Pyrenophora teres Drechs. f. teres Smedeg. (Ptt) and Pyrenophora teres Drechs. f. maculata Smedeg. (Ptm) cause the net (NFNB) and spot forms (SFNB) of net blotch of barley (Hordeum vulgare L.).
