<h4>Background: </h4> Non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) are environmental organisms that are increasingly contributing to human infections. Mycobacterium immunogenum , a variant of NTM discovered in 2001, is a rapidly growing mycobacterium that exhibits multidrug resistance.
