Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica) is a vegetable widely cultivated in China. During March 2018, a severe outbreak of leaf spot disease was observed in broccoli plants in agricultural fields around Guangzhou city (23°07′55″N, 113°15′58″E) in Guangdong province, China.
