In the present investigative study, fifty Trichoderma spp. (Persoon) were isolated from the rhizosphere of various crop plants. Their potential, as an antagonist was assessed against S. sclerotiorum (Lib.) de Bary, causing stem rot of carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus L.).
