OBJECTIVE: We applied deoxyribonucleic acid polymorphism analysis on the basis of differences in the number of short tandem repeat sequences to genetically differentiate dizygotic twins with complete hydatidiform moles and normal fetuses from partial moles presenting a similar appearance.
