This study investigated the phenomenon of repetition blindness in schizophrenia patients and first-degree relatives of schizophrenia patients. Twelve schizophrenia patients, 13 siblings of schizophrenia patients and 26 normal controls were tested on their ability to detect the repetitions within rapidly presentated visual word lists.
