OBJECTIVE: Use of sulfatide excretion in differentiating MLD/PD-heterozygotes from MLD-patients and PD/PD-homozygotes. DESIGN AND METHODS: Sulfatide was extracted from urine sediment with chlorotom/methanol (2:1, v/v).
