In human parainfluenza virus type 2 (hPIV-2)-infected cells, anti-phosphoprotein (P)-specific monoclonal antibody (MAb) densely stained the perinuclear regions of infected cells throughout infection, indicating that the P protein was localized exclusively in the cell cytoplasm.
