Molecular and chemical taxonomic characteristics, including DNA base composition, electrophoretic karyotype, restriction fragment length polymorphism of genes coding for rRNA, cellular fatty acid composition, and ubiquinone systems, were studied for 19 strains of Candida boidinii Ramirez.
