An Arabidopsis homolog of the abscisic acid (ABA)-inducible cotton D19 and wheat Em genes was cloned and its expression assayed at two developmental stages in wild-type, ABA-deficient (aba) and three ABA-insensitive (abi) lines of Arabidopsis thaliana.
