A receptor for hyaluronan-mediated motility (RHAMM) has been shown to promote cell locomotion. Among human T lineage lymphocytes, RHAMM is expressed only on a subset of thymocytes, being absent on mature peripheral T cells from blood, spleen, and lymph node.
