Streptococcus suis is a major zoonotic pathogen, and strains originating from clinically healthy pigs pose an increasingly serious threat to human health. This study investigated 315 S. suis isolates collected from clinically healthy pigs in Guangdong and Guangxi provinces between 2024 and 2025.
