Among 64 Neisseria gonorrhoeae isolates, the MIC50 of tetracycline was 1 µg/mL while the MIC90 was 16 µg/mL. The MIC50 of doxycycline was 1 µg/mL while the MIC90 was 8 µg/mL. The essential agreement between doxycycline and tetracycline was 92.2% (95% confidence interval 82.7%-97.4%).
