Ascomycetous yeasts of the genus Diutina are rarely encountered in clinical routine diagnostics, but known to harbor species with decreased susceptibility to azole antifungals. This study describes a clinical strain representing a novel member of the genus Diutina, which we named Diutina cutanea.
