24-hydroxylase deficiency (or infantile hypercalcemia type 1) is an inherited disease associated with biallelic loss-of-function CYP24A1 mutations lead to impaired inactivation of vitamin D metabolites and characterised hypercalcemia, nephrocalcinosis and/or urolithiasis.
