PURPOSE: Infants with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) have varying degrees of pulmonary hypoplasia leading to cardiopulmonary derangements such as pulmonary hypertension. Extracorporeal membranous oxygenation (ECMO) can be necessary for survival in some patients.
