The soybean tentiform leafminer, Macrosaccus morrisella (Fitch) (Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae), is native to North America where it was known to feed on American hogpeanut and slickseed fuzzybean. However, it has recently expanded its host range to include soybean, an important agricultural crop.
