This study aimed at identifying genes associated with loin muscle area (LMA), loin muscle depth (LMD) and backfat thickness (BFT). We performed single-trait and multi-trait genome-wide association studies (GWASs) after genotyping 685 Duroc × (Landrace × Yorkshire) (DLY) pigs using the Geneseek Porcine 50K SNP chip.
