Among the variety of resistance mechanisms that may underlie a non-optimal response to tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy in chronic myeloid leukemia patients, secondary point mutations in the BCR::ABL1 kinase domain (KD) represent the only actionable one.
