OBJECTIVE: Mucosal melanoma is a rare malignancy; however, the reported incidence rate of mucosal melanoma is higher in Asians than in Caucasians. Sinonasal mucosal melanoma (SNMM) is an aggressive malignancy with a poor prognosis due to distant metastasis.
