BACKGROUND: A diagnosis of Lamin proteins A and C cardiomyopathy (LMNA-CM) not only impacts disease prognosis, but also leads to specific guideline-recommended treatment options for these patients. This etiology is fundamentally different from other genetic causes of dilated CM.
