Pathogenic variants in COL1A1 and COL1A2 are involved in osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) and, rarely, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) subtypes and OI-EDS overlap syndromes (OIEDS1 and OIEDS2, respectively).
