We report a case of recurrent pain attacks during romiplostim treatment in a woman with immune thrombocytopenia carrying a heterozygous MEFV mutation. Five months after starting treatment with romiplostim for immune thrombocytopenia, she was diagnosed with idiopathic pericarditis.
