Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a Gram-negative nosocomial pathogen and one of the most prevalent organisms isolated from burn wounds worldwide. Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain M2 (O5 serotype, type B flagella) is utilized for examining the murine model associated with burns.
