BACKGROUND: The key virulence factors responsible for hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae (hvKp) infection remains elusive. METHODS: We analyzed K. pneumoniae isolates collected between 2017 and 2019 and defined hvKp as a pyogenic infection.
