PURPOSE: This study aimed to investigate the genetic cause of food-dependent Cushing syndrome (FDCS) observed in patients with primary bilateral macronodular adrenal hyperplasia (PBMAH) and adrenal ectopic expression of the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide receptor.
