A novel geminivirus was identified in France and Spain in asymptomatic plants of white clover (Trifolium repens) and shrub medick (Medicago arborea). Its genome has the hallmarks of a capulavirus, and its relationship to other capulaviruses was confirmed by phylogenetic analysis.
