KCTD15 is associated with body mass index and fat deposition in humans, mice and chickens. However, the function of KCTD15 in pig fat deposition remains unclear. In this study, we cloned and analysed the cDNA sequence of porcine KCTD15. The full length of the mRNA sequence of KCTD15 is 4,091 bp, encoding 283 amino acids.
