Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) is an autosomal dominant inherited disease, with variable penetrance and expressivity. Currently, more than 14 different genetic loci have been reported for ARVC, the majority being desmosomal genes like Plakophilin-2 (PKP2).
