Host-microbe interactions orchestrate skin homeostasis, the dysregulation of which has been implicated in chronic inflammatory conditions such as atopic dermatitis and psoriasis. Here, we show that Staphylococcus cohnii is a skin commensal capable of beneficially inhibiting skin inflammation.
