Microsorum species produce a high amount of phytoecdysteroids (PEs), which are widely used in traditional medicine in the Pacific islands. The PEs in two different Microsorum species, M. punctatum (MP) and M. scolopendria (MS), were examined using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
