OBJECTIVES: The study aimed to present a family with myoclonus dystonia (M-D) syndrome due to a mutation in the epsilon sarcoglycan gene (SGCE). Three members of the family suffered from treatment-refractory severe myoclonic jerks of the neck, trunk, and upper extremities.
