Methylotuvimicrobium buryatense 5GB1C, a fast-growing gammaproteobacterial methanotroph, is equipped with two glycolytic pathways, the Entner-Doudoroff (ED) pathway and the Embden-Meyerhof-Parnas (EMP) pathway.
