Abstract excerpt
In a study of young adults chosen as unrelated hematopoietic stem cell donors for patients with hematological malignancies, leukemia-associated mutations were detectable in cells from 44% of donors. Donor-origin mutant clones engrafted in recipients and expanded during the first 100 days after transplant, but donor-derived leukemia was not observed.
