Abscisic acid (ABA) is a sesquiterpenoid (15-carbon) hormone that comprehensively regulates plant stress responses, development, and senescence. Stomata are epidermal pores on plant surface used for exchanging gases such as carbon dioxide, water vapor, and oxygen.
