We discuss the excitonic energy landscape of the typically studied wild-type (WT) Fenna-Matthews-Olson (FMO) antenna protein from the green sulfur bacterium Chlorobaculum tepidum (referred to as WTM), which is described as a mixture of intact (WTI) and destabilized (WTD) complexes.
