Atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor (AT/RT) is a rare and aggressive tumor usually occurring at younger ages. Pleomorphic xanthoastrocytomas (PXA) on the other hand are quiescent tumors with benign behavior. AT/RTs arising in the setting of PXA are exceptional.
