Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada (VKH) syndrome is a rare condition implicating systemic immune reaction against melanocytes. The pathophysiology is unclear. A genetic predisposition has been suggested as HLA-DR4/DRB1*04 is more common among VKH patients.
