We discovered a hypomorphicreelin(Reln) mutant with abnormal cortical lamination and no cerebellar hypoplasia. This mutant,RelnCTRdel, carries a chemically induced splice-site mutation that truncates the C-terminal region (CTR) domain of RELN protein and displays remarkably distinct phenotypes fromreeler.
