BACKGROUND: Steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome (SRNS) is a genetically heterogeneous disorder for which more than 25 single-gene hereditary causes have been identified. METHODS: Whole exome sequencing was performed in a 3-year-old girl with SRNS.
