OBJECTIVE: To differentiate developmental encephalopathies by creating a novel quantitative phenotyping tool. STUDY DESIGN: We created the Developmental Encephalopathy Inventory (DEI) to differentiate disorders with complex multisystem neurodevelopmental symptoms.
