INTRODUCTION: The sarcoglycanopathies are a heterogeneous group of autosomal recessive limb-girdle muscular dystrophies that cause varying degrees of progressive proximal muscle weakness. METHODS: We describe the case of a Caucasian girl who presented with exercise intolerance, myalgia, and dark urine.
