Uridine diphosphate-N-acetylglucosamine (UDP-GlcNAc) donates GlcNAc for various glycans and glycoconjugates. We previously found that GlcNAc supplementation increases the UDP-GlcNAc content in Arabidopsis; however, the metabolic pathway was undefined.
