The goals were to analyze and characterize the secondary structure, regions of intrinsic disorder and physicochemical characteristics of three classes of mutations described in the enzyme N-acetylgalactosamine-6-sulfatase that cause mucopolysaccharidosis IVA: missense mutations, insertions and deletions.
