Two monopartite begomoviruses were isolated from Pouzolzia zeylanica (L.) Benn. plants showing yellow mosaic symptoms in Gaoyao, Guangdong Province, China (GD1) and in Phu Tho, Vietnam (VN), respectively. A comparison of the complete genome sequence of GD1 (2,739 nucleotides [nt]) with VN (2,741 nt) indicated that they shared 86.2 % nt sequence identity.
