Shwachman-Diamond syndrome is an inherited autosomal recessive disease that appears as exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, neutropenia, impaired neutrophil chemotaxis, aplastic anemia, thrombocytopenia, metaphyseal dysplasia, and physical retardation.
