The long QT syndrome (LQTS) is a rare hereditary disorder in which affected individuals have a possibility of ventricular tachyarrhythmia and sudden cardiac death. We investigated 62 LQTS (QTc ≥ 0.47 sec) and 19 family members whose genetic study revealed mutation of LQT gene.
