A factor B subtype, BF*Fb1, was first detected in Japanese by using isoelectric focusing or agarose gel electrophoresis in Tris/glycine/Veronal buffer. Our previous studies suggested that BF*Fb1 may be characteristic of some of Mongoloid populations.
