A total of 201 Mycoplasma pneumoniae clinical isolates from Beijing, China, isolated from 2008 to 2011, were clustered into 16 multiple-locus variable-number tandem-repeat analysis (MLVA) types, of which 6 new MLVA types have never been reported previously.
