Sarcoidosis is a disease about unknown etiology. It's characterized by a chronic inflammation with creation of granuloma consisted of macrophages, lymphocytes and epithelial cells. The course of the disease may be different--from spontaneous remission to severe and chronic form. The most possible cause of sarcoidosis seems to be genetic etiology.
